Shadow Pillow

Presenting my favorite pillow! Making it was so easy, it was like taking candy from a baby! Which is fine by me! (lol, Shadow, ur so evilz).

I like this one even more than my Tails pillow, mostly because I used a smaller hook to make the square, so when I did the cross stitching over it, it was a bit smaller and looked neater. And on the Super Shadow side, I even thought to use fluffy yarn for his three pixels of chest fluff. I didn't think to do that on the front though...

I've actually had this pillow made for a while now, I just now though to put it up on here though. I really love how the border came out though, and the contrasting sides. I had decided to do yellow for regular Shadow's background, since his aura is yellow on Sonic Adventure 2 (like when he jumps). And then I did charcoal grey for Super Shadow's background. I couldn't do black, since he has a black outline and it wouldn't have showed up, so I did the grey since it was the closest I could get to that space-ey sky color. Since whenever you're a super character, it's generally in a super awesome epic space battle. I also like how the two-colored border looks.

Anyway, sprites are from Sonic Battle for GBA, and the Super Shadow sprite was recolored by me. I would have liked to have more contrasting shades of light yellow, but that was all I had, and I was going for that more white-gold ish color that he is in SA2 anyway. In the sunlight it looks great, but in my room you can hardly tell the difference. (it might be because the light in my room has a yellow tint, I'm sure that doesn't help).
